Hannah dougherty, dc, mac
Dr. Hannah is originally from Moose Lake, a small town in Minnesota. Dr. Hannah found her way to Whitefish first in 2021 for a chiropractic internship and has since returned now that her schooling journey is over! Dr. Hannah was drawn to the Flathead Valley due to it's beautiful and abundant outdoor spaces. She decided to set down roots once she fell in love with the accepting, small, tightknit community.
Before chiropractic school Dr. Hannah attended The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN. There she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology. Throughout her time at St. Scholastica she participated in Hockey and Golf. It was due to collegiate sport injuries Dr. Hannah found a passion for and pursued a career in Chiropractic care.
Dr. Hannah attended Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN where she obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. While completing her degree Dr. Hannah completed internships at the school’s Human Performance Center, The Bloomington Wellness Center, and The Bend Chiropractic. Before moving back to Whitefish she also worked with The Joint Chiropractic at multiple locations throughout the
Twin Cities area. Through the school's clinics Dr. Hannah also found a passion for acupuncture care. This led her to obtain her 100-hour acupuncture certification through the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. After graduating with her Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Hannah realized that she wanted the opportunity to provide higher quality and more thorough acupuncture care to her patients. This inspired her to return to Northwestern Health Sciences University and obtain her Masters of Acupuncture. While completing the acupuncture program Dr. Hannah narrowed in on a focus of orthopedic and neurological conditions. Dr. Hannah completed multiple internships at the university’s Human Performance Center specifying in the care of multiple disciplinary athletes. She also completed an internship at Courage Kenny Transitional Care Unit, here Dr. Hannah focused on treating neurological injuries. These injuries include conditions such as stroke, Lyme disease, traumatic spinal cord injuries and Bell's Palsy.
While not in clinic Dr. Hannah is an active member of the Flathead Valley community. She enjoys getting outside and enjoying all the valley has to offer. Some of Dr. Hannah’s favorite ways to do this are playing hockey, golfing, downhill skiing, rafting, snow shoeing, biking, and hiking.
